(Yes, my Valentine’s Day evening was spent photographing instead of with my girlfriend.) Anyway, before the concert we had a 5-minute portrait session with some of the musicians.

As always, they sounded amazing.

i had so much fun planning my own wedding, and i still love, love, love weddings.  people often ask if we get tired of it after photographing them so much, but each one is still special and exciting.  i have to admit i usually get teary at some point.  it’s so refreshing to see a couple in love on their most special day making a sacred commitment to each other, and i love being reminded of our day — august 5, 2006.

we have such a fun, rewarding job, and it makes it so much better still that we get to take the pictures together.
