Shooting in Chicago is great.

Really great.

Four I just love of Eva.

Eva + Matt are our second couple this summer that met and fell in love in pharmacy school. They heard about us from Katherine + Matt (yeah, while we’ve only done 2 pharmacy school sweetheart weddings, we’ve done five weddings this summer with grooms named Matt).

Matt had a very special plan for the pictures in between the ceremony and reception.  He wanted to revisit the spots where he and Eva went on their first date.  Isn’t that sweet?  I wonder if on that first date either of them thought for a moment they could end up as husband and wife.

First, was the movie theater.

Next, was Dugan’s.  (Probably one of my favorite shots of the day…)

I’m glad we went there if for no other reason than this awesome portrait of Matt.

Lastly, and just as the light was getting really yummy, a coffee shop.

The reception was at the Renaissance Hotel.

A lovely first dance.

And some wild colors.

The DJ was able to mix the tracks and keep the music pumping like no DJ we’ve seen.

Thanks so much for spending the day with us. It was a ton of fun!
